Hello and welcome! I believe in harnessing the transformative power of healing and the arts to unleash global change. I am an arts-focused sexuality educator who has been working in the mediums of activist theater and visual arts for the last seven years. I hold an honors degree from UCLA in World Arts and Cultures with minors in Arts Education and Civic Engagement. Currently, I am in school at Widener University to gain two Master’s degrees in Social Work and Education of Human Sexuality, with a concentration in clinical sex therapy. I am also a professional art practitioner in Philadelphia.
My creative interventions as an educator integrate multi-modal expressive arts to promote recovery and wellness in children, adults, and families. I use concepts of neurodevelopment, somatic approaches, mindfulness, and positive psychology as methods for approaching and deconstructing social inequities.
As an artist, I am highly concerned with social disparities and how they reek havoc on our diverse communities. I firmly believe that everyone is an artist, and that art is essential to the human experience: both as a means of expression and as a catalyst for positive change. My art practice grounds individual empowerment in community action.
